We hunt these elusive blacktail deer in the home of the “Baja 1,000 Race”! We hunt both in the highlands of the “San Pedro Martyr” Mountains at 8,000 foot elevation, and in the lowland deserts of the Northern Baja Peninsula, in Mexico - home to the only concentrations of Baja Blacktail Deer in the world ! This is NOT an easy hunt - the terrain is harsh and unforgiving and the deer population is not substantial, but, you should have at least a couple of shot opportunities during your hunt! Our Baja Blacktail Deer Outfitters are without a doubt, some of the best on the Baja Peninsula. Good hunting, good food, good people and great times!
WHAT IT COSTS: $5,500 USD.
WHERE WE HUNT: Several of the best areas in Mexico for Baja Blacktail Deer - within 6 - 7 hrs from the airport in Tijuana, Mexico.
WHEN DO WE HUNT: Mid September - Late December.
WHAT IT INCLUDES: 5 Day hunt, 2 x 1 guiding (1 x 1 if available), a clean bed during your hunt, 3 meals a day (you will not go hungry!), soft drinks and bottled water, trophy prep, Mexico hunting license, 1 deer tag, transportation from and to airport in Tijuana, field care of your trophy, some hard hunting and loads of beautiful high-sierra & desert scenes!
